Rapé Ceremony

Rapé (prounounced ra-pey or ha-pey) is a Shamanic snuff; a preparation of powdered medicinal herbs, often with a tobacco base. This Amazonian sacred medicine is used to overcome physical, psychological and emotional blocks as well as gain tremendous insight into other, subtler worlds. The medicine is known to enhance the healing capacity of other psychoactive plants. Rapé is believed to help release emotional, physical, and spiritual illnesses, easing negativity and confusion, and enabling a thorough grounding of the mind.
